So this weekend I had an opportunity to train with the legendary Royce Gracie. For those of you who don't know he kicked ass in the first couple of UFC tournaments (back in the no-hold-barred days), winning UFC 1 and two. His father is one of the inventors of Brazilian Jujitsu.

All I can say it was amazing. He showed me some really cool moves I had never seen before, and I even ended up putting him in a triangle choke.

Kind of shocking how people who are in the most brutal and grueling sports seem to be the nicest guys. Haven't met any myself, but all the old guys that I have coffee with tell me about famous sports player they met. A guy my dad coached hockey with met Don Cherry and told me that he was the quietest guy, talk about mindfucking.
